Hello and welcome to my webpage!  I'm working on adding items a little at a time....just "getting my feet wet" on building an easy website to navigate.

I started business in 1968 and have specialized in just musical boxes and automatic music since 1972.  I ran the first Cylinder Musical Box Restoration Rchool, together with Joe Roesch, in the US from 1986-1996. 

All the music box restoration products you see in the tool/supply section are used in my restoration shop!  Some parts are custom made to meet our needs.  


I prefer to get orders via e-mail or telephone.  I'm not set up here to take orders over the internet. 


I try to ship orders within 48 hours.  If you have any questions concerning any of my products or any repair questions, e-mail or call and I'll be happy to try to help you.  My phone hours are M-F 9am-7pm; Sat. by chance; closed Sundays. If I'm not home, just leave a message on my machine and I'll get back to you within a day (usually....sometimes I'm out of town for a few days to a week).

IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW!

I will accept orders via E-mail (musicbox@frontiernet.net), by phone (315-684-9977) or by post office letter.


E-MAIL or SNAIL MAIL ORDERS:
To assure fast, dependable service, please let me know the appropriate stock number and a brief description of each item you need.  Include your daytime phone number, just in case there is a question about your order.  I check my e-mail many times during the day...it is the fastest way to order.   Put all your contact information in any mailed-in orders.  See below for payment/shipping information.


PHONE ORDERS: 
For fast service, you can place your order by phone. Please have the stock number, description and your credit card number/expiration date/3 digit security code on the back ready....just in case you get my answering machine.

If you do get my machine, please leave a message with your phone number (I'll call you back as soon as I return home) OR leave the whole order.  Your credit card number is safe on my machine, as I'm the only one who listens to it.


OVERSEAS ORDERS:
  Payment must be made by charge card so postage can be added to the order after it is packed.  If you prefer to pay by international postal money order or by bank check, you will have to give me the order, I will pack it and weight it and get back to you with a total for the order.  Bank checks must be drawn on a U. S. bank.   All orders will be shipped via Air Mail.


PAYMENT:
 I accept Visa/Mastercard/Discovery charge cards; you can use PayPal (to: musicbox@frontiernet.net), or send Money Orders or Personal Checks (drawn on U.S. bank only). 

Many of the parts are lightweight and can be shipped via priority mail (both US and International).  If you are sending a check/money order, please include enough to cover postage.  If you need to know postage ahead of time, call or e-mail and I'll give you a total. Figure on $6.50 for a small flat rate box or envelope; more for bigger items.


SALES TAX: 
New York State residents ONLY must add your local sales tax to the total order.


PACKAGING:
I try to recycle as much packaging material as possible. Your order may be sent in a previously used box....my way of saving a few trees! 


SHIPPING:
I try to process orders within 48 hours.  Most orders are shipped via Priority Mail with the heavier parcels (books) can be shipped via UPS or Media Mail, let me know your preference.  Please include your street address if you are ordering heavy items, as UPS will not deliver to a Post Office Box.

Need it fast??  I can ship via Federal Express, Express Mail or UPS Next Day or Second Day Air.  I'd need a charge card for payment on such orders so I can add the postage after I find out how much it is.


OUT OF STOCK POLICY:
I strive to maintain a constant supply of every item in the catalog.  However, sometimes, because of the high cost of volume manufacturing custom parts, I may temporarily be out of an item.  Backordered items will be shipped at no charge as soon as the are back in stock.


CUSTOMER SERVICE: 
It's the best you'll find!  Since I am the Order Dept., Packing Dept., Shipping Dept. Question Answer-er and Restoration Dept., I can answer just about any question or problem that might arise with your order.  Mistakes are few, but wearing so many hats can be a bit confusing at times!  Call me if you have a problem or question about an order...I'll straighten it out quickly!


RETURNS: If you're not happy, I'm not happy!
All merchandise is guaranteed to please, or send it back (as long as it's not been altered) for a full replacement or refund.  No hassles!
